In the realm of creativity and visual storytelling, I stand as a dedicated and passionate photographer, consistently seeking authenticity in myself, my craft, and the images I make. My journey through the world of photography has been an exploration of the enchanting interplay of light and color, a love affair that has been a part of me for as long as memory serves.

I was born and raised in the picturesque town of Hamburg, New York, and am a true native of the Empire State. My photographic odyssey transcends geopolitical borders and boundaries, carrying me across the diverse United States and to distant locations and rich cultures. It is through my lens that I capture the profound essence of the beautiful Earth we call home and the enchanting people, wildlife, and nature that surrounds us.

My profound connection to my subjects is underpinned by my innate sense of observation. I attribute this to many years as student of the environment and biology, and later professionally as a field biologist where I honed my ability to focus, observe, and delve into the intricacies of my surroundings, from the grandeur of nature to the minutiae of the world's tiniest wonders and our human-made environments. My constant curiosity and patience allows me to uncover the extraordinary in the ordinary, crafting visual narratives that resonate on a profound level.

As a photographer I am drawn to experiences that bring me into my subjects and to be present as they reveal themselves and capture the magical often fleeting moment when everything comes together and I get to be a part of it all and create images - For this I am grateful.

Today, I call Portsmouth, New Hampshire, my home, nestled in the vibrant and burgeoning West End neighborhood. This location affords me access to an array of inspiring people, captivating locales, natural splendors.
